WHAT IS GRADE PREP? WHATS INCLUDED?

PREP is short for preparation

Grade Prep is the process of examining, evaluating, cleaning, and holdering prior to grading submission.

In today's card market, grading is the best way to add value to your collectable. However not every card will meet the standard for Gem Mint condition.

Our process is designed to educate collectors on card condition, helping to save money and profit on their collecting journey.

Our Grade Prep Services Includes:

Professional Evaluation: 30-point inspection of card condition including: surface, centering, surface, corners, edges and autograph.

Price Comp: Current market value of item in its current condition.

Card Prep / Grade Prep: Microfiber wipe-down of card front and back sides, and card edges to gently clean and remove fingerprints, debris and other items.

Holdering: Carefully and professionally placing each asset in the standard holders required for grading. First interred into an Inner poly sleeve, second into a Semi Rigid holder.

Trusted Transparent Reporting: Expert honest report on the condition of your assets including: Estimated likely subgrades, final grade & autograph grade. Detailed notes on card condition. Recommendation of weather to grade or not, and best grading company for the asset.

*Graded Card Review- This is our specialty. All Graded Cards are scoped and evaluated for crossover potential. We will provide our expert recommendation if the asset is a good candidate for Direct Crossover, Crack out and Cross, or not Crossing.

*Graded Card Crackout- All Graded Cards are scoped and evaluated before removal. We will only recommend removal if we believe the cardis a strong canitdate to achieve your goals. We will never remove a card from the holder with out your approval. Our process will safely remove your card from graded holder. 

*Uncirclated "Factory Sealed" Card Review- This is our specialty. All Factory Sealed Cards are scoped and evaluated for grading potential. We will provide detailed report and our our expert recommendation of the assets grade worthyness. We will never Break the factory seal with out your concent.

GRADE EVALUATION STANDARDS

Each grading company is different and has their own grading standard based on condition attributes.

  • Our evaluations are based on PSA standards.
  • We will always advise the best company to grade with based on the asset.
